Faces of Recovery

Sharing and celebrating victories connects Veterans to one another and empowers those who are struggling to know they are not alone.

The Erie VA Medical Center Behavioral Health team is committed to eliminating the stigma Veterans in recovery often face and educating caregivers, loved ones, the public, and other Veterans that recovery is possible.

Faces of Recovery was born out of the #MaketheConnection initiative. This is a national, VA-developed initiative with an aim to recognize the importance of mental health awareness and efforts toward suicide prevention.

MaketheConnection.net is an online resource designed to connect Veterans, their family members and friends, and other supports with information, resources, and solutions affecting their mental health, well-being and everyday lives. www.maketheconnection.net
