Erie VAMC hosting ribbon cutting and open house for new program

All Veterans, staff and community members are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for the Erie VA Medical Center’s Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (PRRTP) on Friday, June 28 at 2 p.m. on the 6th Floor of the facility (135 E 38th St., Erie, PA 16504). The PRRTP is an 8-bed stand-alone unit with 24/7 staffi­ng that is housed on the 6th floor of the main hospital. The program utilizes a mental health recovery model which includes empowering the Veteran to take ownership of their own recovery and meeting them where they are in their recovery process.
