2019 Trauma-Informed Care Workshop for Family & Friends

Family & friends play such a crucial role in supporting a Veterans trauma recovery.  On Wednesday, August 21, Erie VA Medical Center's Behavioral Health Clinic will host a Trauma-Informed Care Workshop from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Erie VAMC in the 2nd floor conference rooms. This workshop is open to all family, friends, and Veterans interested in attending. 

During this workshop, attendees will learn a deeper understanding of trauma, how it affects all aspects of daily living, and what tools and techniques can be used to help Veterans feel safe physically, psychologically, and emotionally.

Date:  Wednesday, August 21 from 5pm-6:30pm

Location:  Erie VAMC - 2nd Floor Conference Rooms
Presenters:  Ann Muczynski, LCSW & Ann Rill, LPC

The goal of this workshop is to help build a trauma-informed care support system for the Veterans we serve by partnering with families and friends to help their loved one feel safe and secure in their recovery journey.
