2017 Drive-Thru Flu Clinic for Veterans

10/11/2017 (Erie, PA) – Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) is hosting a free drive-thru  flu clinic on Saturday, October 28 from 10am-noon for Veterans eligible for VA health care.  Veterans can simply drive thru the ground level of the parking garage, present their VA ID Card and get their flu shot right in the comfort of their car. 

In addition to the drive-thru flu clinic in Erie, the Venango VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) will also be hosting a Saturday flu clinic on October 28th from 10am-noon.  Eligible Veterans can stop in to their clinic to receive their free flu shot. 

Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

  • Erie VA Medical Center Front Lobby – Saturday, Oct. 28  from 10am-12:00pm
    Location:  Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie (Parking Garage – ground level)
  • Venango VA CBOC – Saturday, Oct. 28  from 10am-12:00pm
    Location:  464 Allegheny Boulevard, Franklin, PA
Walk-in flu clinics are still available M-F at the Erie VAMC from 1pm-3pm and at the CBOCs from 8am-3:00pm on the hour.  For all the latest flu information, please call the Flu Hotline at 814-860-2730 or visit www.erie.va.gov/flu. 

Getting a free flu shot is just one of the many benefits offered by the Erie VAMC.  Veterans who have never enrolled in VA health care are encouraged to call our Eligibility Clinic at 814-860-2970 or stop in to the Eligibility Office with the DD-214 Monday through Friday between 8am-4:30pm to determine if they are eligible.
