Erie VAMC offers Salute Your Health Cooking Demonstration & Lecture

To start the New Year’s off right, Veterans and their families are invited to a FREE Salute Your Health Cooking Demonstration and Lecture focusing on healthy diet choices that can help reduce inflammation coming up Tuesday, January 24. This Salute Your Health Class will be offered twice; once from 11:30am-noon and again from 12:15pm-12:45pm and is open to all Veterans and their families.
Deborah Kuntz, a Erie VAMC Registered Dietitian, will offer a live cooking demonstration to teach attendees how to cook with healthy foods while featuring important food choices that may decrease swelling, help with achy bones, breathing and other health-related problems. Samples from the cooking demonstration will be available to prove you don’t need to sacrifice taste to eat healthy.
