Erie VA Medical Center (VAMC) is once again pleased to invite local Veterans, their families, and community members to the annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony coming Saturday, November 5th.

The Veterans Day Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of 26th Street and State Street and marches south on State Street ending at the Erie VAMC.

The Veterans Day Ceremony starts at 11 a.m. at Jefferson School located directly across from the Erie VAMC on 38th Street.

We’re asking the community to get involved!
1.  Sign your organization up to march in the Veterans Day Parade! You don’t have to be a Veteran or Veteran-related organization to sign up to march in the parade. Call Ken Sawdey at 814-866-9565 to sign up today!
2.  Show your support from the side-lines. We’re asking the community to line State Street between 26th and 38th Street to cheer on local Veterans. Make signs, wave your flags, and show your support!

Join us as we celebrate our Veterans and as we remember their selfless service.  For questions about the Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony, please call Erie VAMC’s Voluntary Service Office at 814-860-2454.
