UE Local 506 Sports Committee partners with the Erie VA in support of the Erie Vet Center
1/8/2015 (Erie, PA) – Local bowling enthusiasts are teaming up to support the Erie Vet Center at the annual Hometown Heroes Bowling Tournament.
What: The 13th Annual Hometown Heroes Bowling Tournament will raise funds for the Erie Vet Center. The Erie Vet Center provides readjustment counseling to combat Veterans, as well as providing couples therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and bereavement counseling. Funds will be used to support Veteran participation in programs such as couples retreats, equine therapy, and music supplies for Music for Veterans, and to support events for Veterans and their families throughout the year. This event is sponsored by the UE Local 506 Sports Committee annually.
When: Sunday, February 22 at noon
Registration/Check-in will start at 11 a.m.
Where: Eastway Lanes on Buffalo Road
Who: This event is open to the public and is limited to the first 200 paid entries. Lanes fill up quickly so register early to ensure your spot.
Cost: The entry fee is $15 per person; five people to a lane.
