Erie VAMC Offers Blood Sugar Management Series

Erie VAMC offers a Blood Sugar Management Series for Veterans who struggle to manage and control their blood sugar.  This course is perfect for those Veterans who are new to diabetes, have pre-diabetes, or those who have an elevated blood sugar.  This course, taught by Certified Diabetes Educators and Behavioral Health Specialists, will teach Veterans how to make better, healthier choices that will help control blood sugar. 

2016 Blood Sugar Management Series Class Schedule
Location:  All classes are held in the Patient Education classroom located on the 1st floor of the medical center.

1st Thursday of the Month - 12:30pm-3pm
Topics:  Self-Care, Reducing Risks, Goal Setting, Being Active and Healthy Coping

2nd Thursday of the Month - 1pm-3pm
Topics:  Monitoring and Taking Medications

3rd Thursday of the Month - 1pm-3pm
Topics:  Healthy Eating and Problem Solving
