Ashtabula VA Clinic to Host Open House

03/09/2015 (Erie, PA) –Erie VA Medical Center is pleased to invite Ashtabula-area Veterans and their families to attend an Open House at the new Ashtabula VA Clinic. 

What:               Veterans and their families are invited to the new Ashtabula VA Clinic an Open House to meet the staff and take a tour of the new clinic.

When:              Wednesday, April 8 from 3pm-5pm

Where:             The Ashtabula VA Clinic is located at 2044 Lambros Lane in Ashtabula.

Who:                 This event is open to the public – Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.  VA staff will be on-site to provide tours and to talk about VA programs and services.

Background:      Over the past couple of years, the Ashtabula VA Clinic has expanded, offering more programs and services to the growing number of area Veterans seeking care at the clinic.  This new 6,476 square-foot clinic, constructed by Developer Thomas Kennedy from Professional Development Associates, Inc., accommodates for continued growth as the Ashtabula VA Clinic expands efforts to provide specialty care services including telehealth and behavioral health programs and to better meet the needs of area Veterans.

Last year, the Ashtabula VA Clinic served more than 2,250 local Veterans.  The clinic provides a wide-range of services including primary care, behavioral health, telehealth programs, on-site phlebotomy, DAV services, and various peer support groups. 

The Ashtabula VA Clinic is always accepting new patients.  If you served in the military and received an honorable discharge from military service, you may be eligible for VA health care.  Call the Ashtabula VA Clinic at 866-463-0912, stop in between 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or visit www.va.gov to apply for VA health care.
