When: Saturday, November 9th
Parade starts at 9:30 a.m.
Ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
Where: The Parade begins on the corner of 26th Street and State Street and marches south on State ending at the Erie VA Medical Center. The Ceremony begins at the Naval Reserve Center located behind the Erie VA Medical Center. The community is invited to attend as we pay tribute to local Veterans.
Calling All Participants: There are two ways to get involved in the Parade and show your support.
- Sign your organization up to march in the Veterans Day Parade! You don't need to be a Veteran or in a Veteran-related organization to march. You just have to be a Veteran supporter. Our goal is to make this the biggest Veterans Day Parade yet! Call Ken Sawdey at 814-866-9565 and sign-up today.
- Show your support from the side-lines. We're asking the Erie community to line the streets and cheer on local Veterans. It's a great opportunity for the whole family and a great parade to watch. We will be marching south on State Street starting at 26th and ending at the Erie VA. Line those streets!
