Erie VA to host Veterans Justice Outreach Conference
Building a community of support for local Veterans.
4/9/2012 –Erie VA Medical Center is hosting the second annual Veterans Justice Outreach Conference to educate professionals in the local community about the special issues Veterans face.
When: Tuesday, May 22 from 9a.m. – 3 p.m., Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
What: VA behavioral health professionals will be leading presentations, panel discussions, and an open forum with a focus on Veterans who have returned from military service and are at risk or involved with the criminal justice system. The program will address the special issues that Veterans face when returning from active duty and ideas as to how to mitigate potential volatile situations.
