Free flu shots now available to eligible Veterans

Spread the word, not the flu!

September 5, 2012 – Flu shots are now available for all eligible Veterans at the Erie VA Medical Center and VA community clinics. Erie VA Medical Center is hosting the following flu shot clinics:

  • Erie VA Medical Center – Saturday, September 15 from 9 a.m. – noon in the main lobby
    Veterans with limited mobility can use the drive-thru flu shot service at the main entrance
  • Ashtabula and Crawford VA Clinics – Saturday, September 22 from 9 a.m. – noon
    Veterans with limited mobility may ask for car-side services
  • Venango VA Clinic – Saturday, September 29 from 9 a.m. – noon
    Veterans with limited mobility may ask for car-side services
  • Warren VA Clinic – Thursday, September 20 from 9:30am–4:30pm and Friday, September 21 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • VFW in Bradford – Saturday, October 13 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. located at 94 Barbour Street, Bradford, PA 16701.

Veterans are encouraged to get a flu shot at their Erie VA primary care clinic any Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. or any of the VA community clinics between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Veterans not enrolled in the VA system are invited to stop by the flu shot clinics with their DD–214 service papers and register with eligibility representatives.
