Erie VA to Host Veterans Justice Outreach Conference on June 2nd 

The Erie VA Medical Center Behavioral Health Clinic is hosting a Veterans Justice Outreach Conference to educate criminal justice and mental health professionals on the special issues returning Veterans face. 

What:   Erie VA Medical Center hosts the annual Prisoners of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) Remembrance Ceremony to honor our nation’s most revered heroes, those who served under the worst of conditions, sacrificing their freedom so that our country may know true liberty.  Each year during the ceremony, local former POWs are given time to share their stories and experiences of captivity.  This year will include the special missing man table in recognition of those who have not returned.

When: Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10 a.m.

Where:                Erie VA Medical Center - Second Floor Conference Rooms

Who:     Erie VA invites former prisoners of war, their families, friends, and members of the community to attend the POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony.
