Recent Traffic Flow Changes (3/24/2020)

The Erie VA Medical Center 38th Street entrance will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, March 26 for at least one week to repair a sewage line.  Medical Center operations are not impacted as we make this necessary service repair.  All traffic to the facility should enter through the Old French Road entrance starting this Thursday until further notice.

We recommend all patients continue to park in the front lots or the parking garage for ease of access to the main facility entrance as designated by the map below.

Repairs to this sewage line – which is located under the main entrance roadway - are expected to begin Friday.  Once the repairs are made, the 38th Street entrance will be covered by gravel and reopened until we are able to repave the roadway.  Aside from temporarily re-routing traffic to the Old French Road entrance, there is no other impact to operations at this time.  More details to come.

Thank you for your understanding as we make improvements to your Erie VA Medical Center. Check back soon for progress updates on our construction projects underway now.
